Pamela Age During Show: 31 Occupation: Marketing Executive Lives: Virginia Beach, VA Pamela has made herself know as she is the only girl in the male team. In episode two she managed to waste time learning how ice cream was made when they should have been in the war room. Then later she was a horrible salegirl as no one would buy ice cream off her when she was selling it on the street. Pamela came up a bust in this episode and with her high price lifestyle, such as eating cavalier, she maybe right up Trump alley, but she has to have the job skills to prove herself, and this last episode she failed. History Pamela, 32, is an accomplished and well-trained business executive who has founded two successful companies from the ground up. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. During the 1990s, she worked as an investment banker on Wall Street, underwriting IPOs and doing M&A advisory work for two top-tier investment banks. In 2000, Pamela founded Blazent, Inc. from her loft in San Francisco. Blazent has grown to become a successful enterprise software company, now with offices all across the country. After two years as the company's CEO, Pamela left Blazent to form Crimson Holdings, a private investment firm focused on real estate investments and equity hedge strategies. The Crimson Funds, including Crimson Advisors and Crimson BridgePoint Funds, have performed exceptionally well, and the Crimson family of funds is quickly becoming a leader in the management of alternative investments. Interview As I experience the fullness that life has to offer, I've been presented with new and amazing challenges that my I couldn't have imagined. Success, for me, is an evolving matter... Success, is my willingness to continue tackling challenges and taking advantage of opportunities while continuing to stretch myself beyond what feels comfortable in an effort to grow both professionally and personally. I know that I've been successful when I've made my first million, am self employed, a successful wife & mother. That's not too much to ask, is it? One day I'll be 90 years old and I suspect that I'll be that charming older person that's lived life to its fullest...had 10 different careers...a collection of seemingly unrelated degrees, and all because I've been unafraid to pursue dreams and take risks that other people wouldn't have taken the risks to pursue. Who do admire both personally and professionally? I admire business people with the ability to successfully balance their personal and professional life--my CEO is one of the few truly successful business people that I've seen truly LIVE a life of balance. What did you learn from the last season of The Apprentice? I learned that hard core self-preservation brings out a level of aggression in human beings that otherwise would remain untapped. What has been your biggest challenge in the pursuit of your career goals? The biggest challenge that I've faced has been the need to continue transforming myself, like a chameleon, to have heightened opportunities as a female in a predominantly male business world. If you had a super power, what would it be and why? If I had a super power, it would be the ability to read people's minds. I've chosen the "ability to read people's minds" for two reasons: First, to have a competitive edge over my competitor; Secondly, I've found that few savvy business people really tell you what they're thinking. In business we've made an art of knowing how to politically "spin" any situation or response to a situation. |
