History
Michael, 25, currently lives in Boston. He completed his secondary education at The Pingree School in South Hamilton, Massachusetts, and earned his Bachelors Degree in Communications from Boston College in 2001. At the age of 23 Michael launched a real estate development and investment firm with residential and commercial projects throughout New England. Michael plans to build his company into a national infrastructure as well as pursue an MBA.

Interview
How do you define success?
Fulfilling your financial or professional objectives is only the launching point for success-admittedly, I admire money and power, but I also believe that's all worthless if not used to make an impact. I define success as leveraging your resources to create positive changes in the world around you. Whether it's as "small" as donating canned goods during the holidays, or as "big" as organizing and supporting a large-scale fundraiser for a philanthropic organization, I feel most successful when I'm in a position to give.

Of course, the more I have, the more I can give, and the more successful I'll feel. Read between the lines.

What have you learned from watching the previous seasons of The Apprentice?
That the biggest challenge is not how smart or savvy you are, but how well you work with and manage 17 others who are just as intelligent-if not more so-than you are. Trust me, dealing with people from all walks of life and business backgrounds is not easy by any means, especially when your ego is on the line. I also learned that keeping a sense of humor about yourself is a key element to success. Although sometimes not well-received, comedy goes a long way and can win over the hearts of your teammates-as long as you're careful not to let it backfire and get you, well, FIRED! Ultimately, however, The Apprentice has taught me that keeping a level head and being true to your values will be rewarded.

Why should you be the next Apprentice?
Deep in my mind I feel like I am a Mini Donald Trump-or shall I say, a Mogul In Training. (Actually I'm not that mini, I'm a big guy, but you all get the idea.) I truly want the chance to learn from the man who has pioneered the art of real estate development, a business that I have a passion for.

I graduated from one of the top prep schools in the country, earned a degree from Boston College, and have been accepted to both law and business school. Anyone who talks to me for more than five minutes gets that I have tremendous business savvy and a natural ability to "read" people's motivations, even when we have nothing in common, and turn negotiations in my favor. The real estate development business that I launched has toughened my character and taught me to trust my "gut" as much as the knowledge and skills I've attained.

Mr. Trump is not only a real-estate genius, he is his own brand. Donald Trump wants someone who is not afraid to speak his or her mind and who can think outside of the box to transform his business. The chance to work for the man, the myth, the Donald, has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. Whether or not I become the next Apprentice, I will do business with Donald J. Trump.
