The Final 8 Swimsuit Models
The show began with a bang as each girl entered the house and was told they had minutes to get in their bathing suit for a runaway shoot. Each girl had to walk down the terrance with cameras a flashing and turn and strut their stuff in front of the three judges. Well, it didn't take the judges long to figure out who was hot and who was not and they expressed their opinions after each girl walked back. All the while cameras went off like they were celebrities until they shoe'd away by Nikko the Runway director. The girls then got to select their rooms and the next day went off to a photo shoot on the beach. After the shoot the girls were judged and then all faced the judges in the elimination round where 4 girls got the boot, leaving 8 girls left. In the end you get to pick who wins. Sports Illustrated searched across America to find a fresh, new face to feature in the 2005 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Twelve hot contestants were hand selected to live together and compete in a series of athletic and modeling events. Three will be chosen to fly to an exotic location to shoot a layout for Sports Illustrated. In February, America will choose the winner. The story unfolds on NBC and SI.com starting January 5th.
